OMI/Aura Ozone Profile (SAO algorithm) 1-Orbit L2 Swath 26x48km V004 (OMPROFOZ)

The Collection 004 Aura Ozone Monitoring Instrument Level-2 Ozone Profile (SAO Algorithm) data product is now available from the NASA Goddard Earth Sciences Data and Information Services Center (GES DISC) for the public access. The OMPROFOZ product contains ozone profiles at a pixel resolution of 26 x 48 km (at nadir), at 25 pressure levels and 24 layers between about 1000 and 0.1 hPa. It also provides a-priori ozone profile values, error covariance matrix, averaging kernel and some ancillary information such as time, latitude, longitude, solar zenith and viewing zenith angles and quality flags. The lead scientist for this product is Dr. Xiong Liu.

The OMPROFOZ product files are stored in the version 4 netCDF format. Each file contains data from the sunlit portion of an orbit (approximately 53 minutes). There are approximately 14 orbits per day thus the total data volume is approximately 1.26 GB/day.
