The Wide Field Imager (WFI) channel of the Carruthers GeoCoronal Imager (GCI) provides better than 2000 km resolution at nadir from the Lagrange point #1 halo orbit of the Carruthers Geocoronal Observatory. The Level 0 data contain all of the images obtained using the WFI channel that has an 18 degree field of view. Science imaging was regularly scheduled after March 3, 2026. The WFI has filter options including open, Lyman Alpha Narrow, Lyman Alpha Extra Narrow, Calcium Fluoride, Strontium Fluoride, and Blocked. Stellar observations for calibration are obtained when opportunity arrives with near anti-sun position of the stars. Blocked images for detector bias determination are obtained several times daily.
