The REX datasets over the mission include calibrations using known radio sources, Jupiter, and cold sky measurements; operational readiness tests (ORTs); internal test pattern calibration; and prime science radiometry and occultation observations during the Pluto Encounter.

This data set contains Calibrated data taken by the New Horizons Multispectral Visible Imaging Camera instrument during the Pluto encounter mission phase. This is VERSION 3.0 of this data set. This data set contains MVIC observations taken during the the Approach (Jan-Jul, 2015), Encounter, Departure, and Transition mission sub-phases, including flyby observations taken on 14 July, 2015, and departure and calibration data through late October, 2016. This data set completes the Pluto mission phase deliveries for MVIC. This is version 3.0 of this dataset. Changes since version 2.0 include the addition of data downlinked between the end of January, 2016 and the end of October, 2016, completing the delivery of all data covering the Pluto Encounter and subsequent Calibration Campaign. It includes multi- map observations from the Approach phase, observations of the moons, hi- res, full-frame observations from Pluto Encounter and Departure, and ring search observations. There may be some overlap between prior datasets and this dataset, due to only partial, windowed, or lossy data in prior datasets. This dataset also includes functional tests from the Calibration Campaign, including calibration observations of the M6 and M7 clusters, and HD205905. Also, updates were made to the calibration files, documentation, and catalog files. For any data previously delivered as sub-frame windows, this delivery will fill in the image data outside those windows. Changes to the calibration involved only changes to the spectrum-specific calibration constants provided in FITS headers and in PDS labels; the calibrated Data Number values in the calibrated data set, excluding image data outside the sub-frame windows mentioned above, will not be substantively changed.

These observations include Charon, Nix and Hydra observations from the day of encounter, Pluto and Charon Multi-maps and Multi-longitudes from Approach, full-frame versions of observations downlinked as sub-framed (windowed) versions for version 1.0, Kerberos and Styx observations, Pluto High-phase and Color observations, and departure Ring-search observations taken in November, 2015. Also, updates were made to the documentation and catalog files, primarily to resolve liens from the V1.0 peer review.

This data set includes the complete set of New Horizons (NH) SPICE data files (``kernel files''), which can be accessed using SPICE software. The SPICE data contain geometric and other ancillary information needed to recover the full value of the science instrument data. In particular SPICE kernels provide spacecraft and planetary ephemerides, instrument mounting alignments, spacecraft orientation, and data needed for relevant time conversions.

This data set contains ALICE observations taken during the the Approach (Jan-Jul, 2015), Encounter, Departure, and Transition mission sub-phases, including flyby observations taken on 14 July, 2015, and departure and calibration data through late October, 2016. This data set completes the Pluto mission phase deliveries for ALICE. This is version 3.0 of this dataset. Changes since version 2.0 include the addition of data downlinked between the end of January, 2016 and the end of October, 2016, completing the delivery of all data covering the Pluto Encounter and subsequent Calibration Campaign. It includes multi- map and Lyman-alpha observations of Pluto and Charon, histograms of the Pluto system moons, and a number of calibration observations of Rho Leo and other stars. Also, updates were made to the calibration files, documentation, and catalog files. The data were re-run through the updated pipeline, which changed the FITS headers of the raw data set, but not the FITS data. The updated Effective Area calibration file (pa_aeff_007.tab) changed the calibrated data.

This data set contains Calibrated data taken by the New Horizons Linear Etalon Imaging Spectral Array instrument during the Pluto encounter mission phase. This is VERSION 1.0 of this data set.
